Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will:

• Utilize the nursing process in the delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department. 
• Use written, verbal and communication skills effectively and considerately. 
• Promote compassionate, efficient, safe, cost-effective, and quality patient care. 
• Incorporate teaching principles into practice. 
• Demonstrate the minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities for age-specific populations. 
• Maintain a knowledge base for their role in an ALL-HAZARDS Event.

 Floating to other departments when there is low census may be required.
