GOALS:
+ Line manage assigned Site Payments staff, as well as define, develop, and deliver global site payment plan and directives.
+ Lead site payment staff and oversee the site payment processesincluding service provider oversight, and escalation management.
+ Support priority or highly complex escalations.
+ Champion the creation and implementation of innovative processes, methodologies, data and technologies that will ensure ongoing delivery of timely and accurate global site payments.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
+ Manage assigned Site Payments Staff.
+ Partner with CRO’s, Clinical Operations teams, and TAU partners to improve overall global site payment metrics and implement processes.
+ Oversee and train Site Payments team and partners delivering activities in support of Clinical Studies, including data and methodologies to drive global site payment strategies, site payment setup, and maintenance activities.
+ Ensure consistent standards are applied to the global site payment process across project portfolios and support continuous improvement activities while developing and implementing study aligned strategies.
+ Drive the creation and implementation of innovative solutions to improve processes and accelerate site payments and increase site satisfaction.
+ Recognize and remediate potential delays, and be escalation point for under-performance as needed.
+ Develop resourcing plan to ensure achievement of site payment tasks aligned to study needs.
+ Be point of escalation and assist in resolution of issues identified by Takeda, partners and/or study sites.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
+ BS degree or international equivalent, advanced degree preferred.
+ 8+ years in clinical research site payments with evidence of increasing responsibility within a pharmaceutical company, CRO or relevant industry vendor.
+ 5+ years of direct responsibility of global site payments processes and oversight.
+ Experience in line management and working in a matrix environment.
+ Proficiency with site payment software and database structures.
+ Expertise in principles driving site payment efficiencies and strategies.
+ Ability to strongly demonstrate, interpret, explain, represent, and drive unbiased data insights into site payments deliverables globally to ensure data driven decisions are made.
WHAT TAKEDA OFFERS YOU:
Base Salary Range: $180,000 to $200,000. Employees may also be eligible for Short-term and Long-Term Incentive benefits. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Charitable Contribution Match, Holidays, Personal Days and Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program and Paid Volunteer Time Off.
The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
