Description
A rigorous 500-hour program with a science-based curriculum that prioritizes the science of nutrients and how they interact in human biochemistry. Courses feature learning about the human body, bio-individuality, food and nutrient composition, clinical application concepts, and nutritional strategies to support optimal wellness, all while instilling critical thinking skills to help integrate the knowledge gained. The goal of this program is to equip graduates with an understanding of the most current principles and protocols in nutrition science, including the practical application of nutrition in clinical settings. The online program utilizes leading edge technology including state of the art video to capture and hold student attention. Once students graduate as a Nutrition Therapist Master, they are eligible to sit for the board examination through the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (www.nanp.org) to become nationally Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition (BCHN).
